Reliable nonstick pans are the core of any great kitchen. We searched high and low to come up with a list of our favorites that are both durable and priced well.
1. Great Jones
Great Jones offers two popular pans in a set called the fry family. The first is the Great Jones large fry pan. The large fry is 10 ¼ wide by 2″ tall and is large enough to make breakfast for a whole family. It has a full stainless-steel exterior and a non-toxic, nonstick ceramic rivetless interior. The pan heats up the food evenly while requiring a minimal amount of oil. It is also scratch-resistant and will survive ovens, induction stoves, and dishwashers. The Great Jones small fry is 8 1/2 ” wide by 1 ¾ ” tall. The small fry base has been upgraded to stainless steel bonded with aluminum. It is easy to use, clean and scratch-resistance.
2. Our Place
Another great nonstick pan is the Our Place Always Pan. The pan is 10 inches in diameter. It is made mostly from aluminum (which means it heats up quickly). The nonstick pan is coated with ceramic to buttress its non-stickiness. The pan is relatively light, a bit over 3 pounds without its lid and comes in an array of soothing colors.
3. Caraway
Caraway provides non-toxic, eco-friendly cookware that is uniquely designed and of top-notch quality. The pans are coated in ceramics enamel rather than Teflon to achieve a nonstick surface. And it doesn’t release a harmful chemical into the food while cooking at high temperature.
4. Food52
Food52 GreenPan is made up of stainless steel handle with a brass finish, a hard-anodized reinforced body, and thermolon ceramics, making it nonstick. It does not only slide out omelets, crepes, fish filets, and the like with ease but their sage-blue exterior and brass hardware cut quite a profile. It also doesn’t blister, peel, or release toxic fumes like other nonstick pans. It is also resistant to beating, washing and other metal utensils.
5. Le Creuset
The Le Creuset nonstick skillet is toughened with hard anodized. It distributes heat evenly when used on gas and electric ranges. The pan also has convenient helper handles on the pans that make it easy to lift since it it is a little on the heavier side.
6. All Clad
The all clad D3 nonstick pieces are made of an aluminum core sandwiched between 2 layers of stainless steel. It also has an additional non-sticking coating that is PFOA- free with handles that are stainless steel. The clad D3 series is oven safe and induction compatible.
