Artisan Olive Oils Are All The Rage, PRMRY Is One You Should Know About

Artisan Olive Oils seem to be all the rage as of late. Brands are popping up left and right offering a plethora of flavors made from quality ingredients. The staff at Lifestyle of Leisure has tried them all, and PRMRY Olive Oil is our top pick.

Who is PRMRY?

Launched in San Francisco in February 2020, PRMRY is a fairly new company. However, in their short time in business, they have been making waves and generating a lot of buzz. Erin Ridley and Janell Pekkain, the founders of PRMRY, are both certified extra virgin olive oil tasters who bonded over their mutual passion for olive oil and desire to elevate it.

PRMRY specializes in a variety of extra virgin olive oils. In order for their oil to be classified as “extra virgin”, it needs to pass an evaluation that involves a chemical and sensory analysis to make sure the product is up to par.

They currently have two main oils: TRANSFORM and ENHANCE. Both olive oils are named after their primary use, and come with guidance around what they pair well with.

TRANSFORM, is a fuller and more intense bodied olive oil that pairs well with soups, salads, and lamb. ENHANCE, has a more subtle taste pairing well with roasted vegetables, fish, poultry, and more.

We put these both to the test and not only are they delicious but the aesthetic of the bottle looks great sitting out on your counter. The price point is $33.00 which we thought was reasonable considering they are a small business and how impeccable their product tasted.

Whether it’s artisan olive oils or olive oil in general, this magical oil has many health benefits. In fact, some people take olive oil shots for the many health benefits that it has. Here is an article we wrote about just that.
